I first met Carol as an impressionable 21 year old. She was the Company Secretary at BPS where I had just joined, and I warmed to her sense of humour and duty immediately. She became a go-to person for any problems whether work or home related for the six years that I worked there. Eight years later Carol came to work for the business I had started, initially a couple of days a week, but eventually becoming our Company Secretary. She completely transformed our business. With her organisation, knowledge and sense of purpose and not to forget her famous 'phone manner', two enthusiastic young men were able to concentrate on what we did best, leaving all the back office work to Carol. As a result our company grew in size and reputation and I have no doubt that without her this would not have happened. Carol is nothing short of a legend to me. Outside of work she was always so much fun. A great sense of humour, never judging, always listening and laughing with a favourite tipple in her hand. I am glad that she is now at rest and can be reunited again with Jonny. A remarkable lady who left an incredible impression on my life. Carol will be forever missed but most definitely never ever forgotten. Sleep tight. xxx
